• Schedule: Monday Friday, Day Shift (5x8-Hour, 08:00 16:30); weekend requirement applies

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist with X-ray competency to join their trauma-designated imaging department. The role includes a wide range of CT studies with and without contrast and requires general radiography proficiency. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience and be confident in acute and outpatient imaging environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT exams across all major systems including trauma protocols

• Start IVs and administer contrast media

• Operate Toshiba CT equipment and PACS systems

• Conduct general X-ray exams (head, chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, musculoskeletal)

• Support occasional procedures: biopsies, aspirations, arthrography, fluoroscopy studies*

• Use post-processing techniques such as multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)

• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including within ED, ICU, and surgical environments

• Accurately document imaging data and maintain regulatory compliance

• Float between like units as required

• Participate in weekend rotations (every weekend)

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 2 years in CT and X-ray (required)

• First-time Travelers Accepted: Yes

• Weekend Requirement: Yes Every Weekend

• Floating: Yes between like units

• Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed; per manager discretion

• Guaranteed Hours: May be called off up to once per 2-week pay period

• RTO Policy: All RTO must be submitted at the time of profile

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in CT and X-ray modalities

• License/Certifications:

  • Required: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS

  • Preferred: ACLS, California Fluoroscopy Permit

Professional & Technical Proficiency:
