Job Description
Silverback Coffee of Rwanda is looking for a PART TIME coffee roaster to join our 2 person team. We are located in Los Angeles, CA. 90015 Our ideal candidate is attentive, self motivated, hard-working and clean - Must have some coffee roasting experience.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery to roast and bag coffee for distribution.
Maintain roast profiles by examining products during and after processing.
Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of machinery and roasting facility
Record production data, such as roasting dates, times, and amounts, in daily log sheets.
Is ok with early morning shift starting at 5am
· Tracking and maintaining inventory levels for both green and roasted coffee.
· Manage the roasting schedule.
Will work with the Operations Team in roasting experiments, improving inventory accuracy and forecasting, along with consistency in roasting profiles.
Able to lift a minimum 40 pounds
Qualifications
~ MUST have experience roasting on a commercial roaster
