BVT Investor Services is hiring a Tax Administrative Assistant to support our Tax Manager and CFO. This is a t emporary role with a posibillity for a part-time/full-time role that offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax processing and investor services.

Responsibilities

Power of Attorney (POA) Management:

• Supervise the power of attorney process
• Receive POAs from external sources and track in Excel
• Delegate POA tasks to team members as needed
• Process and verify POAs, ensuring accuracy of investor details
• Enter POA information into internal systems (e.g., Distribution Services)
• Index POAs into Docuware

Tax Processing Support:

• Process refund checks and enter details into internal systems
• Initiate IRS or state tax authority correspondence when necessary
• Assist with Individual, Estate, Corporate, and Partnership tax returns
• Perform high-volume data entry, document scanning, copying, and mailing

Billing Support:

• Enter charges into the Distribution Services database
• Work with our Munich office to resolve billing issues

Cross-Training & Collaboration:

• Work closely with other tax department members for seamless task execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
