Job Description

SNÖServices Sourcing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving organizational success by overseeing the beginning-to-end process of sourcing and onboarding service partners. Their primary responsibility is to manage and optimize these processes to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality service of partners that align with the organization's goals and standards.

 

This role involves identifying and evaluating potential service partners, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships to build a reliable and efficient service partner network. The sourcing specialist ensures compliance with onboarding policies and leverages data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and enhanced service delivery.

 

Additionally, the sourcing specialist collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to understand service delivery requirements, provides sourcing solutions that meet business needs, and maintains transparency throughout the sourcing-onboarding cycle. By ensuring the efficient and effective acquisition of service partners, this role significantly contributes to the organization's operational excellence and strategic objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Onboarding:

Identifying and assessing dependable service partners to align with organizational requirements.

Ensure all necessary and relevant service partner information is accurately collected, entered, and updated in the system as needed.

Familiarize service partners with SNO processes and procedures, including the use of the app and portal.

Negotiate:

Negotiating MSCAs, service exhibits, and pricing models with service partners to secure optimal value and superior quality.

Management and Performance:

Establishing and nurturing relationships with the service partner network to ensure competitive pricing, service delivery requirements, app, and portal utilization.

Evaluating service partner performance, agreements, and system utilization to identify opportunities for improvement.

Market Trends:

Staying informed on market trends, industry best practices, and supplier performance.

The sourcing specialist should meet the following qualifications and demonstrate the following competencies:

 

Educational Background: Hold an associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) or have over five (5+) years of experience in project management, sourcing/procurement, or a management role.

Technological Proficiency: Exhibit a strong willingness and ability to understand and utilize technology effectively.

Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Collaborative Skills: Show proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Critical Thinking: Have a record of accomplishment of critical thinking and advanced problem-solving within established frameworks.

Negotiation Expertise: Possess exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes and build successful partnerships.

Industry Experience: Experience in landscaping, snow removal, and the service industry.
