Job Description

We’re hiring a US Payroll Analyst for a 6-month contract to cover a maternity leave. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 3,300 employees (union and non-union) across multiple U.S. states, and will collaborate closely with our Canadian payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll cycles accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and prepare related reports
• Manage garnishments, off-cycle payments, rejected deposits, and tax adjustments
• Partner with ADP Smart Compliance on tax filings and local tax ID setup
• Support W-2s and quarterly/annual tax filings
• Address employee inquiries using HR case management systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Benefits, and Compensation teams
• Maintain payroll documentation and support SOX compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience processing US multi-state payroll
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and regulatory practices
• Hands-on experience with Workday , ADP Smart Compliance , and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative environment

Preferred

• CPP or FPC certification
• Experience with Pennsylvania and Ohio payroll regulations
• Familiarity with SAP and ServiceNow
• Background in payroll audits, system transitions, or payroll cleanups
