Job Summary

The R&D Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory activities which will be heavily focused on electrical and mechanical testing. Responsibilities will include conducting testing to industry standards such as UL, CSA, ASTM, SAE, and ISO, as well as analyzing results, communicating nonconformities. 90% of this role is testing and generating reports.

Required Education & Experience

• High school diploma required
• 5+ years of lab testing experience within the manufacturing industry required
• Experienced in reading and interpreting technical standards, preparing samples, and performing tests according to the prescribed standards
• Able to work on multiple projects and multiple tests simultaneously
• Work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Must be hands-on and capable of working well with limited oversight
