  • Facilitate design handoff meetings, fabrication reviews, and test readiness checkpoints.
  • Develop and coordinate on-site/off-site test preparations and installation strategies.

Technical Integration

  • Maintain deep understanding of system design, performance criteria (thermal, structural, water/air), and applicable industry standards (e.g., AAMA, ASTM, NFRC).
  • Review and validate test plans, test unit configurations, and installation strategies.
  • Ensure lessons learned and validation outcomes are fed back into design iterations, process evaluations and system documentation.

Governance and Reporting

  • Maintain project documentation, including RAID logs, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare status reports and executive-level summaries as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement of project governance tools, templates, and processes.

Also note:

  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong command of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related).
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, project engineering, or technical project management—preferably in the building envelope, fenestration, or manufacturing industries.
  • Understanding of product testing protocols, material behaviors, fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, performance reports, and testing data.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile knowledge beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with curtain walls, storefronts, windows, and/or doors preferred.
  • Collaborative mindset with a bias toward action and ownership.
