Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation, real estate, insurance defense, and construction law

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery, and motions

• Oversee case strategy and manage matters from intake through trial or resolution

• Counsel clients on risk exposure, legal options, and strategic positioning

• Negotiate settlements and lead trial preparation when necessary

• Maintain efficient file management and communication standards

• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to drive results

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in commercial litigation, real estate, or construction law

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school

• Active bar license in Louisiana (or ability to obtain promptly)

• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

• Client-focused mindset with strong attention to detail

• Familiarity with litigation tech and case management systems is a plus
