Job Title: ERP Project Manager (Direct Hire)

Client Location: Wausau, WI area

Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing and executing technology related projects and delivering the desired outcomes in an effective and professional manner, ensuring that infrastructure and services are aligned with and support the company’s strategic objectives. This position reports to the ERP Systems Manager.

Essential Functions

• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, form and lead project teams and establish project budgets
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
• Ensure project steering teams are kept informed of project progress
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, write specifications
• Analyze existing systems and recommend areas of improvement
• Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Organize and perform user acceptance and integration testing
• Prepare technical users manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports
• Train end users and technical team members
• Allocate resources, accomplish identified project goals and maintain cost efficiency on assigned projects
• Stay up-to-date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
• Provide trouble-shooting support for various ERP programs

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Management or equivalent
• 5 or more years of experience in business analysis or a related field
• SAP experience is a plus
• Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and MCC SAP Software
• Effective Oral and written communication skills
• Regular use of logic and critical thinking to analyze a situation
• Required to make reasoned judgements that are logical and well thought out
• Ability to work well with others and contribute as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
