Electrical Project Engineer – Power Distribution

Excellent opportunity an Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading Power Distribution business where you will be able to work on a range of high-profile and high-value projects spanning numerous sectors.
This historical manufacturer of Power Distribution equipment supplies to major public and private sector clients across the USA including those in the Power Generation, Mass-Transit, Chemicals, Healthcare and Education markets. Their experience covers everything from equipment design and manufacture to installation, commissioning and maintenance.
In this role you will be supporting the delivery of LV and MV Power Distribution projects involving things such as Substations, Transformers, Switchgear and Circuit Breakers. Responsibilities include the production of electrical drawings, specifications and BOMs, as well as the monitoring and reporting of project progress.
The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering and will have 2+ years’ experience in Project Engineering, ideally having knowledge of Switchgear or other Power Distribution/Transmission equipment.

The role:
* Assessing customer requirements and objectives
* Producing, Amending and Issuing electrical drawings, BOMs, specifications etc.
* Liaising with production team to ensure new equipment meets specifications
* Monitoring project progress and reporting both internally and to customers
* Ensuring installations adhere to plans and agreements
The Person:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, or having extensive experience in Power Distribution projects
* 2+ years’ experience in Project Engineering
* Strong knowledge of Power Distribution equipment e.g Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Transformers
* Driving license
