Job Title: Rider Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: San Bernardino County
Pay Rate: $23/hr
My client specializes in offering private rides for children in order to help them get to and from school. Think Uber or Lyft, but for kids with special needs, living in foster care, experiencing homelessness, etc. We are looking to hire Rider Assistants; Your job will entail sitting in the passenger seat while the driver takes the child to school in the morning, and back home in the afternoon. Your job is to ensure you are always on time to be picked up by the driver, the ride goes smoothly, be a friendly face, and foster a safe space for the child. They have been operating for over 9 years, and they have brought us in to help hire Rider Assistants for these rides. As a Rider Assistant, you won't be driving the car, rather you will be sitting in the passenger seat making sure the ride goes smooth and creating a safe space for the kids.
This job is super low effort, but we do place reliability as the most important aspect. There are AM & PM routes (pre and post school hours), with ideal candidates committed to working Monday through Friday, AM and PM, for around 10 hours/week. These contracts are never ending as well, so you can do this work for as long as you'd like.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
21+ years old
Must own an iPhone or Android smartphone
Willing to get fingerprinted within the State of Colorado
2+ years (non-professional or professional) of experience in childcare
Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families
