• Title: CT Technologist Day & Mid Shifts

• Department: CT Imaging

• Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)

• Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (11:30 AM 8:00 PM)

  • Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)

  • Weekend Rotation Required

• Start Date: 07/14/2025

We are seeking a certified CT Technologist to support their advanced imaging department across day and mid shifts. This position requires strong CT imaging competency, venipuncture certification, and comfort working in acute care and emergency settings. Candidates must be proficient in contrast studies, post-processing, and CT-guided procedures. Rotating weekends and floating to like units are required.

• Perform high-quality CT exams including contrast-enhanced studies

• Complete specialized scans such as coronary CTA, brain perfusion, and vascular imaging

• Conduct spine and musculoskeletal CTs (cervical, lumbar, thoracic, trauma)

• Support interventional procedures (biopsies, aspirations, drainage, arthrography)

• Administer contrast media and start IVs as per protocol

• Respond to code stroke protocols and emergent imaging requests

• Document all procedures using Epic and PACS (Siemens and Toshiba systems*)

• Rotate weekend coverage and float between similar imaging units

• Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused imaging environment

• Years of Experience: 1 year minimum

• First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

• Weekend Requirement: Yes, rotating

• Floating Required: Yes between like units

• Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed; manager discretion only

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel up to once per 2-week pay period

• RTO Policy: RTO must be submitted at time of profile

• Locals Accepted: Yes

• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in CT imaging

• License/Certifications:

  • Required: ARRT (R), BLS, Venipuncture Certification

  • Preferred: California Fluoroscopy Permit

• Abdomen/Pelvis: With and without contrast

• Chest: With and without contrast

• Head and Neck: With and without contrast

• Spine & Musculoskeletal: Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic, Trauma
