Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Construction Superintendent to support one of our premier clients in Sparks, NV. This role is part of a dynamic self-perform team comprising 75 skilled craft and field laborers, a Superintendent, Project Coordinator, and multiple Foremen. The team is currently engaged in a high-profile SEMI expansion project involving the construction of a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility.

In this position, you will work closely with a dedicated Mechanical Project Manager. Your day will begin with a “pre-job brief” alongside the craft labor team to align on the day’s scope of work and review any design changes. Following this, you’ll participate in a planning session with your Project Manager to coordinate upcoming tasks.

Approximately 70–80% of your day will be spent in the field, collaborating directly with craft laborers and developing a detailed 2–3-week look-ahead schedule. You’ll also attend subcontractor and manpower meetings and provide regular updates on project progress and scheduling during various team meetings. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is passionate about driving project success from the ground up.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee on-site construction activities, managing both direct hire teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, site personnel, and the Project Manager.
• Drive project timelines, proactively addressing and escalating construction issues.
• Coordinate equipment installation and start-up with vendors and facilities teams.
• Ensure high standards of safety and quality, while continuously evaluating field processes for efficiency improvements.

Compensation :

$70.00/hr to $80.00/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
