One of the largest privately owned Auto Dealership Groups in the country seeks an experienced COMMERCIAL
INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER. This position is tailored to an experienced (minimum 5 years)
Commercial Interior Designer seeking a long-term, fast paced, hands on opportunity. Responsibilities will include
design development, materials specifications, interiors coordination of construction drawings, site visits,
procurements of furniture, fixtures, graphics, signage, etc. and systems coordination, install verification & punch of all
components. Ideal candidate has experience reviewing construction documents and experience with detailed
coordination of associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. A background in FF&I purchasing is
essential including RFP’s, proposal qualifications, orders and invoicing. Excellent interpersonal skills are required,
this position reports directly to the construction director and interacts with all levels of management as well as outside
consultants and manufacturers. This is a fast-paced collaborative team environment which requires self motivation
and management as well as a person that navigate an ever changing environment.

Critical Skills / Experience/Requirements:
Accomplished in AutoCAD, ability to prepare concept design, space planning, furnishing layout, etc.
Specification of Commercial Finishes, Furniture Case Goods and Systems Furniture such as Steelcase, AIS,
Teknion, Knoll experience preferred.
Automotive or Retail Design experience is preferred
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle conflicting and changing information in a fast-paced collaborative
team environment
Independent decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously, think strategically and execute
Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate good judgment and effectively prioritize
Must be detail-oriented
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, knowledge of Bluebeam is a plus
Must demonstrate a professional appearance and work ethic
Ability to travel as needed ~ amount of travel will fluctuate depending on projects
Minimum training and experience
5+ years of experience in all areas of responsibility listed above is preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited university required.
