About Us

Hormone Insight is a women's health AI startup founded by an MIT alum, on a mission to reimagine hormonal care for millions of women navigating PCOS, endometriosis, and other imbalances. We're building a Duolingo-style mobile companion that’s fun, science-backed, and deeply personal.

What You'll Do

You’ll lead the gamification layer and emotional design of our mobile app — bringing behavior change, storytelling, and charm into every interaction.

• Design game loops and reward systems grounded in behavioral psychology (e.g., habit loops, streaks, self-determination theory)
• Build fun, expressive character animations (inspired by Duolingo) that reflect emotion, encouragement, and context
• Translate wireframes and user flows into engaging UI that feels intuitive, playful, and purposeful
• Collaborate with product, frontend engineers, and hormone coaches to shape a personality-rich app
• Create Figma-based components, design systems, and export-ready animation assets (Lottie or others)
• Craft small micro-interactions (e.g., points earned, self-love unlocks, avatar reactions) to build delight

You Might Be a Fit If You:

• Can animate characters or interactions using Lottie, After Effects, or similar tools
• Understand behavioral psychology principles (nudges, rewards, motivation) and how they apply to product design
• Love bringing personality and empathy into digital design
• Have strong experience in UI/UX for mobile apps (especially gamified or wellness-focused apps )
• Are excited about women’s health, AI, and real-world impact

Bonus

• Experience working with React Native teams
• Past projects that involved game mechanics or emotional storytelling
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite, Lottie , Spine, or Rive
